This is long overdue. I currently own two products from Inferno Technologies -- the RPG Inferno and the Shoutbox. Anything you've read about them, their service, and their product can't be emphasized enough. They have done an amazing job coding these products.

While I've had a great time developing the RPG -- and I'll bring this up in a moment -- the real treat has been the Shoutbox. It has revolutionized the way all of our members think of a web forum. Members have often registered and logged in their very first time just to say "Hi" and ask a quick question on our website. We're a large World of Warcraft MMO community, and this mod has singlehandedly brought very personal relationships from people on completely separate realms and continents.

The RPG has been another treat. I had spent weeks and weeks growing more and more frustrated with website RPG mods, and then I came across Inferno. I played around with the Admin panel on the website and I was floored. The sheer number of options and opportunities to make an RPG the way I wanted to. The compatibility and ease of transferring the RPG to other forums has also helped me earn some money on the side -- which has been invested right back into our website and purchasing valuable forum software.

I can't recommend Inferno Technologies enough. The only regret I have is that I didn't write this sooner.

Inferno Technologies, owned by Scot Kershaw, has always been able to amaze and bewilder you no matter what their product is. This holds true for their newest model of RPG Inferno, which has the flexibility and potential to become anything from a small forum based RPG, to a large based MMORPG with thousands of players. It has a little bit of everything in it, from Guild Wars to World of Warcraft MMORPG wise, but has the customability of any other video game creator out there. You can create your own world, own NPC's, own quests, and items for the members to use on their own individual adventures.

But that is enough of praising their product. This is a testimonial, and I need to tell you what RPG Inferno has done for my own site. Although my site is a small one, and has no active members at the moment, the RPG itself created an influx of interested members when it was first installed. Unfortunately they shied away from the post count that they had to reach to access the RPG, but ever since I had installed the RPG for Invision Power Board 2.1 it has attracted members, and has made quality members stay interested and attracted to the website. And to have such extensive possibilities for such a little price makes this product more than worthwhile. I suggest to all forum-based website owners to get this product. Although the name may say RPG, it is flexible enough to be turned into anything that you wish it to be.

When i first explored the internet for the first time i was (and still am) a big RPG fan, i first saw a similar hack to the RPG inferno which i was hooked on, i then got myself a vB board and i found the hack that it used when i first discovered it. Unfortunatly it wasn't what i wanted and was too limited.

I then met Zero tolerence, having used many of his great additions to invisionfree and vBulletin boards i discovered this new invention known as the Inferno v3. I thought at first it was going to be difficult to use, and that i needed scripting knowledge to be able to do things, i was suprised at how easy this addition fits in with my boards and how little effort i need to create a whole new world.

RPG inferno isn't all about Role Playing, its a whole new experience involving you and your friends, kind of like a get together where anyone can join the fun, the ACP is smooth and easy to navigate even though at first it seems daunting with many options, but you get used to these very quickly.

For support i highly recomend these guys, you won't find better support, i rate it A*** for quick, easy, understandable help, Zero tolerence spent hours finding out what was wrong with my boards and had a lot of patience with me, he listened to what i had to say and solved problems there and then, usually support charges you for long hard jobs, well not this one, Zero tolerence and decado both stopped what they were doing and dropped everything to give me a hand. I cannot begin to describe how amazing these guys are with the effort they put into getting me going. I owe them alot and highly recomend giving the Inferno a chance.

Its a small price to pay for something that can litterally change the way you think and see things. well done guys.

Well I recently bought an owned version of RPG Inferno for my vBulletin forum. It exceeded all of my expectations greatly. It's been turning my TV-based forum into an RPG-based forum in just a matter of days. If you're thinking of buying RPG Inferno, you don't know what you're missing. It's very easy to create stunning RPG's that provide hours of fun. RPG Inferno is just about as customizable as it gets. Installation is very easy. Ever since I installed RPG Inferno, member registration and activity has increased greatly. The price is very, very low for the quality of the product you're getting. I've tried plenty of other forum RPG's, but none of them are even close to this one. If you're looking for a good way to boost registrations, this is the easiest and best way to do so.

Inferno Technologies, staffed by Scot Kershaw and Iain Kidd, have gone beyond the pale with their latest release. RPG Inferno v3.0 (currently in an Alpha phase) is a magnificent piece of coding as well as genius of design. It’s customizable features allow board owners the ability to craft it into their own world and for those of us who have Role Play boards, create a mirror of the board action.

The product itself is amazing but what comes with it makes it a must have for any board. Scot and Iain both offer unsurpassed tech support. I have never had an issue that wasn’t quickly address and professionally handled. They go above and beyond to assure that you are satisfied with their product. Their personal attention to my issues, no matter how small, is amazing in this day of bad products and lousy customer service. They are always willing to answer even the stupidest or obvious question I might throw at them.

I have also worked with IT on a few custom code projects. I was able to negotiate fair and competitive pricing but receive outstanding support and product. One hack in particular, that three coders had undertaken and bailed on, was quickly whipped out by Scot. Not only was the code done quickly but it worked the first time without major issues and any tiny modifications were done immediately. The second code was completed much in the same fashion as the first and the third I expect no problems. I always want Scot on my code projects.

With their superior projects, customer service, and custom work, Inferno Technologies will always be my first choice.

An excellent major addition particularly useful to gaming communities, letting your users interact with each other or fight monsters that you created. The admin controls are so in-depth that RPG Inferno has its own seperate Control Panel. Spend many happy hours creating a vast selection of features for your members to use such as compounds, pets, attack/item classes, locations, NPCs (which you can program to say what you like) and much more! Alternatively, simply import ready-made setups. I've had users register simply for the RPG Inferno so this is a proven way of increasing traffic for your forums.

Support is excellent - thorough and speedy. Events are well announced so you aren't left hanging wondering what's going on and in my experience, deadlines are well kept. I've even had one of the developers sign up to take questions from my users. The installation procedure is very automated with fairly little you should need to do manually. A great forum investment!

I never been the rpg maker type person myself, i toyed with many products which allows you to make full fledged role playing games. I never made one cause i never got past the first thing to do, and it always was very complex for me especially for assigning stats. With RPG Inferno V3 it is all about percentage, which makes it alot easier to try and balance with the monsters you make. You can also do endless possibilities and sculpt the rpg that suits your site. I run a sci fi site, so my plan is to set it up sci fi'ish, fighting jaffa's, using guns, staff weapon, and the list can go on.

When you play RPG inferno V3 it is just like playing a console based rpg, things run so well and it is very easy to navigate. I showed a friend RPG Inferno V3 and he had a blast, he can't stop playing and is gonna help me set up RPG Inferno V3 on my site. The RPG ACP looks very daunting and complex at first, till you start monkeying with things, and then you start flying, making this and that, and always monkeying with stats to make them more balanced.

Support is A+++! On every time i have posted for support, i always got a response asap! There was never any hesitation for help. You got a problem, here comes Zero Tolerance and Decado to the rescue, all the time! Zero Tolerance just spent about 2 hours helping me to get RPG Inferno V3 to work correctly on my site. How can you beat that in support?

Even if your not a RPG gamer, i can gaurantee you play this one time, you will get hooked! Just cause you can play with your friends, do 3v3 matches against 3 other people which is amazingly fun! Don't pass this up whatever you do, it is well worth the cost!

Without a doubt, RPG Inferno is the most powerful gaming-related mod for vBulletin to be found. Inferno RPG is an amazing piece of software. During the alpha installation i encountered some errors but the support was excellent and they were fixed with 5 minutes. The Inferno team are obviously dedicated to this project otherwise they couldn't of created anything as good as it. It has brought a lot of traffic to my site and my hits have already gone up 50% since installing it 2 days ago. The amount of posts my members make are still the same but they seem a lot happier on the board. The design is excellent and I expected it to be very high server load but Zero Tolerance seems to have spent a lot of time optimizing it. The pricing is very reasonable considering that the Inferno team have spent nearly a year developing it and I would say it is worth EVERY penny. It is far better than I could of wanted or expected. The most amazing thing is the controllability of it, you can control everything from city locations to monster weak points. If you are in doubt about buying this then i STRONGLY recommend you do.

Inferno RPG V3 has greatly improved traffic on my webpage and has caused many users to pick up on discussions going around on the boards while playing. It has brought in a new chain of members that I never expected! As for setting it up, it was a lot of fun. You get to build the environment from the ground up, keeping what you want in, and taking out what you don't want. Customizing each monster is easy and can be done with only a few clicks! You can set up each monsters stat individually to assign it to always be weak, or you can have them scale with the players level and use percentages to determine the enemy encounters stats. But that's not it! You can even party up, have teammates, and make the monsters have teammates! Players can obtain great treasures by hunting high level monsters together, or they can work together to obtain his head for a quest, all of this is possible and is only limited by your imagination and configuration. All of this is included with Inferno RPG! And that's just the battle system! This was such a great purchase. It was far more than I wanted, but now I wouldn't settle for anything less. And it's a low one time fee for a lifetime of updates. Thanks Inferno Tech.

I had spent a lot of my time working with some free RPG's that were out there until I stumbled upon RPG Inferno. When I first started playing with the free version I was quite impressed, and extremely curious what the full version was like. I came to the website and played around with the full version and immediately fell in love with it. It had everything I had wanted in a RPG for my site. I was a bit worried about support and updates like people always are but I decided to go for it. After all the price for it was incredibly reasonable, almost felt like it was too good to be true.

I've had the RPG for several months now and there is not a single complaint I could say about it. The support is absolutely amazing and punctual, not to mention Zero Tolerance is extremely professional, respectful and very nice. The updates they come out with are worth it and make the RPG even better than it was. I don't regret my purchase of the RPG and I would highly recommend it to anyone out there that is looking for excellent customer service and a great product.

I orginally got the RPG Inferno for IPB and I must say I was amazed by the battle system and the ability to make my own mini rpg. I recently have switched to vBulletin and have recieved the RPG Inferno for it as well. How couldn't I ? Again the RPG Inferno has amazed me. Now you can give certain jobs spells and have other jobs evovle into others. Also I'm a big fan of the Final Fantasy VIII card game, Triple Triad. I was very happy to see it on the RPG Inferno and it is exactly the same as playing it on Final Fantasy VIII.

The pricing is also very reasonable. The RPG Inferno for IPB is only 20 dollars while the vBulletin is only a little more but the vBulletin version has a lot more features so it makes very good sense. Also anytime I have a problem or question about the RPG Inferno, my problem is solved or question is answered. Not only that, Zero Tolerance is very nice and wishes to make sure all his customers get the full experience. RPG Inferno definetly adds a nice touch to anyone's forum. It's fun and addictive as well as something to do when you don't feel like posting. It has given my forums more members. If your even considering buying the RPG Inferno, stop wasting your time and buy it.

RPG Inferno - Small Price - Big Fun! Its an amazing modification for vbulletin. Easy to install and fun to customize, there is no end to the system. With constant updates and amazing support, this is with out a doubt 60$ well spent!

I have to give my props to the team at RPG Inferno! This mod has been one of the most successful and utilized features on my forums, and certainly a member favorite. During a very slow period, we installed Inferno and created a plot line, which really got members active and excited with the site again. his has been excellent consider my site is heavily based on roleplay!

I have also valued being able to stand out in the crowd! The amount of growing room for customization has allowed for designing my version of Inferno to my site's tastes, making for a UNIQUE game compared to other forums that have also installed this script. Triple Triad has been my personal favorite, as I designed a game board and cards special for my members. Items, characters, monsters - all can be designed to fit any sort of genre without being forced to only depend on "stock" features. If you want a sci-fi game, you can create your items and monsters to match, if you want fantasy also easily done! This was probably THE thing that made it 100% worth buying the lifetime license!

Finally, what makes me love Inferno is the quick and personal support. Nothing is more annoying than stumbling over a huge bug in the system, and having to wait weeks to see it fixed. Support is fast and bugs fixes are put out as quickly as possible, ensuring that customers can keep their script online without any downtime or messed up accounts!

RPG Inferno. Doesn't that name sound convincing enough? Ok... I guess it's only a name. Try having a look at the actual system itself then. What do you think? I will answer that for you. A-maze-ing. You can't get better than this. There are the three top groups of people who use forums. phpBB, IPB and VBulletin. RPG Inferno rules over 2/3 of the top systems made making this the worlds most known and best forum script out there. It's unbelievably unmissably fantastic that you won't ever want to get your money back. This is one hell of an RPG System, it features everything you'd need in an RPG, from the looks right down to the way you want to customize it! It's nice ! easy to install, which is always a plus, you get it as soon as you buy it! and it supercharges your website! When I bought and got it up and running, I had an influx of members who didnt hesitate to play ! tell me how good it was :)

Okay Inferno...How to describe it. At first i was a bit scared to try it out....i'm sure everyone knows how it is you dont always get what you expect when you pay. But i took a chance, paid,got it in a few second (instant delievery wich you dont always get) and all i can say is AMAZING!!! i got exacly what i was expecting even more. the support is even better then i ever had with anything else(scripts,webhosting) easy,fast to install. Usually those huge add on takes for ever and a lot of playing with the vb files but not this one.

I'm sure anybody who would come on this site wondering if it would change something on their website? well after adding it introducing the users to it...I have even more users staying (playing their life out) on it!! wich makes my day!

RPG Inferno, what can I say? It's all been said before, I’d be repeating everyone really, but I will go ahead and say what I have to say.

RPG Inferno is the best EVER modification out on vB and IPB (Even though the IPB Project has been stopped) It is probably the most known mod in my opinion, the pricing for it is more than fair, the update's for Inferno are superb, new feature's just so many new thing's that make it that much better. It has made a difference to my forum, it does attract people to sign up to your forums, as it adds an element of fun than a regular forum.

Support is top notch, when I had problems with inferno Zero Tolerance pretty much help out and never failed to solve a problem for me. Response times are good and extremely helpful.

Overall, Inferno and the support is top notch, couldn't ask for anything better.

RPG inferno is by far the best forum RPG system I ever used. Easy to install, setup and let’s not forget the game play. My member’s love it. And it has a very professional feel to it. Your RPG will not be similar to other people’s RPG. Your RPG will be unique, with about 90% of fully customable system. I have used other RPG hacks before in the past. But RPG inferno is just simply the best I have ever used, and plan to use for a long time.

I have always been wary of spending money on hacks before. I guess I still am, however I made an exception when it came to RPG Inferno. I have spent countless hours searching for a decent RPG hack to install on my forum; however the only ones that came close to what I wanted required payment. After trying out a few free ones and finding myself disappointed, I made the decision to purchase one. But which one? It did not take me long to settle with Inferno. After trying it out on their forums I knew I had found the right one to buy!

I was very pleased that my first tentative step into buying something online turned out to be one of the best purchases that I made in my life! One thing I looked for that Inferno provided was that it was fully integrated into the vBulletin forum system. It wasn’t like one of those external systems which you have to manually link to, instead it’s controlled just like the rest of your forum via the Admin CP, and uses your forum styles and conventions to a great extent.

The Inferno system is just so complex and loaded with features that it had just what I needed to use on my forum. It provides multiple options for character growth so you could have a choice of how you want to develop your character, or even include them all giving users a wide variety of options. Whether it is via Skill Points every time you level up, equipping items to boost your character, or spending hard earned cash on training programs, it’s all up to you! As an administrator of the system, you can turn on and off sections at will to customize just what you want your users to use.

Of course character growth isn’t the only thing you can do. For fans of Final Fantasy VIII you will also recognise another feature that Inferno includes: An almost complete replica of the Triple Triad card game! Now you can buy cards, fight AI Bots for cash, and other users in order to capture their own rare cards! The fun doesn’t stop there, with Clans, Lottery, Summons and many other features to keep your user entertained!

One final note before I finish, for those of you wishing to learn the how hacking works, this is a great hack to explore around. I myself had no knowledge of forum hacking before I installed this, and my desire to play around with it and customise it to my needs changed all that. If you’re an RPG fan, looking at a hack that’s based on what you’re interested in the key to learning how hacking works in general. Well, it worked for me anyway. ;-)

So! If you’re looking for an RPG hack, and don’t mind the price tag, I highly recommend RPG Inferno! It certainly fulfilled my needs!
